Free press: ‘Leggo’ e ‘City’ fra i primi 4 quotidiani gratuiti più diffusi al mondo

Leggo e City sono al terzo e quarto posto fra i dieci quotidiani gratuiti più diffusi al mondo.

I dati (relativi alla diffusione nel 2009) sono contenuti nell’ ultima FDN (Free Daily Newspaper), la Newsletter sui quotidiani free press diffusa da Piet Bakker, il docente olandese considerato ormai il maggiore specialista del settore a livello mondiale.

Nella classifica, a Leggo viene attribuita una diffusione media di 963.000 copie quotidiane e a City di 779.000 copie.

Secondo Bakker comunque le cifre relative al quotidiano cinese Beijing Daily Messenger non sarebbero affidabili: “le fonti ufficiali – rileva Bakker – parlano di un milione di  copie, ma altri sostengono che la diffusione effettiva si aggirerebbe fra le 180.000 e 250.000 copie.  Se fosse vero i due gratuiti italiani sarebbero al secondo e al terzo posto e al decimo posto salirebbe il francese Direct-Plus con 650.000 copie.
