Il Times continua a perdere lettori online dopo l’ introduzione del paywall

Il quotidiano britannico The Times continua a perdere lettori dopo l’ introduzione del sistema a pagamento per la sua versione online. Lo rilevano gli ultimi dati raccolti da comScore, secondo cui la versione web del giornale ha perso altri 120.000 visitatori unici, scendendo a 1,459 milioni di agosto  dai 1,579 milioni di luglio, con un calo del 7,6%.

Tra l’ altro, segnala Sfnblog citando Thinq, News International, la società editrice proprietaria del giornale, ha registrato perdite anche sul versante carta, visto che il Times ha toccato le 494.205 copie vendute, la prima volta dall’ aprile 1994 che le vendite sono scese sotto la soglia delle 500.000 copie vendute.
